Humans were seen as masters of the world since around the 5th century BCE, said by the Greek philosopher Protagoras, yet reality is filled with cruelty and inhumanity. Since 1980s, bodies haven been rented out for drug experiments, and in 2012, organs were sold after death. The human body is treated like an object to be used or leased. It is my view that some issues elude legal restrictions and must instead be addressed through moral education and guidance. The glass sculptures aim to raise awareness about these problems, encouraging a strict sense of responsibility toward oneself and future generations. Through the fragility and transparency of glass, the work invites contemplation on ethical choices and their implications, urging a collective commitment to fostering a more conscientious society.
